Google Docs script tested
A Google Docs script or “add-on” is in the workings, the script has already been written and is already functioning. It cannot however be published until Google has reviewed it and approved it. It’s a pretty good start, but there’s a while lot more that can be added to it. One building-block at a time. My thoughts for future development are to give the user the ability to choose the styling of the output (color, style, and font-size of the book and chapter; color, style, and font-size of the verse number; color, style, and font-size of the verse text; etc.), as well as the string formatting (full book name or abbreviation; visibility and repetition of book / chapter; visibility of verse numbers; etc.).
